9th - 12th grade pe

Sports, Fitness, and Leadership for High School Students.

Our 9th–12th Grade Physical Education class combines fitness, athletic development, and sports instruction to help students build confidence, improve performance, and develop a lifelong appreciation for physical activity.

Students will participate in a variety of major sports while learning the rules, strategies, techniques, and skills needed for successful participation. Sports may include basketball, volleyball, soccer, flag football, softball, track and field activities, and other team and individual sports throughout the year. Whether students are experienced athletes or simply looking to stay active, this class provides opportunities for growth, skill development, and friendly competition.

In addition to sports instruction, students will work on cardiovascular endurance, strength, agility, coordination, flexibility, speed, and overall fitness through structured conditioning and fitness activities. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, leadership, communication, self-discipline, goal setting, and sportsmanship—skills that extend far beyond the playing field.

Our goal is to help students become physically literate, confident movers who understand the value of exercise, teamwork, and healthy living while providing an enjoyable and engaging PE experience.
